Welcome to our blog!

Here is a mega tribute, special for the welcoming of ReCycle UniQUiLY<3 into the world of blogging! Here is our first post: all of our previous creations! Take a look...

1. The Juice Pouch purses: Cute and creative! The only thing you need to do is come up with a design, size and type of bag you want. Then plan how you are going to sew the juice pouches. Start sewing on a sewing machine with regular thread in the zig-zag type of stitch. Come up with a handle, you can make the handles out of juice pouches also or use ribbon!

2. The pink container: It previously had yogurt in it. After being cleaned thoroughly it was decorated with tissue paper and glue. Our tissue paper was pink, we placed on the container and glued it by passing a paint brush over filled with glue. After covering the entire thing we let dry and placed a ribbon around it. Perfect!

3. A Christmas count dow calendar: The holidays are clearly over but its never to late to get some ideas for the next year! This calendar was posted on our facebook group just in time for the holidays, it was such a good creation that we had to post it again in our new blog. The creators were Adriana and Ariana. They used boxes from the dumpster and cut out a piece of carton in the form of a sock with a Snowman popping out. The whole thing was decorated with construction paper. Their idea was that there was going to be a little pocket (made out of paper) for every day and the little dangling candy cane would be placed inside the pocket of the current day. It counts down all the way till 25 or Christmas!

4. A little album or message holder:The small albums are made out of the cartons found in packages of papers. They were cut into small squares and became the front and back covers of our little album! To make this you will also need ribbon and decorative paper. You can make it a little album for all your wallet sized pictures or a message book for inspiration. Ours was entitled "I'm thankful for...". Inside we filled it with all the things we are thankful for and we left space just in case we have to add something latter.

  1. What a great idea! Looking forward to more from you on recycling creatively. My daughter has taken to recycling old art and pairing them with her own flare. I think the name is van go again art. I will see if she would like some of her pics to be shown here. I think it is a good recycling idea as well.
Will see you all again some time. :^)
