We Are Back!
That Was a Long Month! We enjoyed every bit of our earth month and we hope you had a chance to join us for at least one of the weeks in our campaign to save energy by not using computers, we know its hard to do since our lives revolve around the computer so much these days, Thank You to all of those who tried and celebrated earth day! It is so exciting to know that there is a day where so many people world wide get involved and try to be as environmentally friendly as possible! The next step is to make everyday earth day, its simple! All you have to do is integrate so small things into your daily lives, call them new habits! Here are a few:
1. Turn of the lights whenever you leave a room.
2. Don't let the water run
3. Use carton reusable plates: Carton can disintegrate but plastics and foam stay on the environment for years and years!
In
celebration of Earth Day 2011, the United States Postal Service, in
partnership with the United States Environmental Protection Agency,
recently issued the Go Green commemorative
stamps. With the Go Green stamps, the U.S. Postal Service shows us some
simple actions we can take to conserve natural resources and promote
the health of our environment. Learn more about the U.S. Postal Service's sustainability initiatives, and the Go Green stamps. The next time you need a stamp, consider using the Go Green stamps.
